I love the game and it runs very well but how do I use my wired X box 360 controller to it because it has the option in the pause menu but it wont let me do it

Absolutely brilliant story and gameplay and downright creepy at times! The voice acting in this game is simply superb and the storyline is excellent! If you have not tried this series, do yourself a favour and get it; you will not regret it!

I thought it would download when i turned it off and when i came back 4 hours later it said it was paused. I tryed everything to let it keep downloading but nothing was happening. Then when i hit install it wont do ANYTHING. I need help with this.

The game takes you on an emotional rollcoster that everyone should experience, from adorable cutscences to disturbing content, 10/10 would recommend to everyone! It entered my top 10 games of all times within 3 days of playing it, I would definelty be looking forward to bioshock 2!!!! MAKE IT HAPPEN PLEASE! :D

It has a story and a reason for moving forward. This puts you in a plausible situation of a man made nightmare come true. It mixes the mindless first person shooter, a horror movie plot, and puzzles. The details in graphics and sound really sets the atmosphere. The parts they use arent new in any way but they combine them well to make the game richer. Sometimes though, the fast action overwhelms strategist but not constantly. If you find yourself playing strategy and shooters then this game is worthy of your game collection. But the age rating is correct. There is a lot of gore and profanity in this game, but so is life.

個人的に世界観とかゲーム性どうも合わなそうだったので、プレイ１時間で消してしまいました。 Macbook Pro 13 Retinaの竹モデルですが、Midiumクオリティなら問題無く動いてました。 Highでは試していないのでわかりません。

It’s quite strange but this game is absolutely AMAZING! Never in my history of playing games there was a title like this - not very new but long beautiful and EPIC. The action takes place in a underwater city named rapture. The main character goes under the sea and realizes that now its not a beautiful place with many shops and cinemas, no its slaughterhouse were everybody kills everybody. Enjoy!

Despite many years that have passed since the game was made it didn’t get old even a bit. I played it after Bioshock Infinite and did not feel like the game was old or anything. Definetly worth buying.

Runs nice and smooth at my MacBook Air. Worth to buy. If you have any doubts about this game you better to read or watch reviews. Игра стоящая, производительность отличная даже на Эйре. Рекомендую.

Bioshock contains one of the most thoughful plots and settings ever seen in gaming. Not many games will touch the idea of a “me first” society, but Bioshock does, and shows its opinion that in said society, the selfish attitude would result in addicts, murderers, and psychotic people. And it’s all tightly wound in a solid FPS where your main enemy is the splicer, a person who has so relied on the effects of Plasmids and EVE that they have lost all sense of morality. In addition, the graphics are still good today, with excellent water effects and a beautifully rendered city called Rapture. It questions the role of the player character and is a good experience, not only for book nerds like me who read Atlas Shrugged and The Fountainhead, but for anyone looking for something a little different.

A classic game which is a blast to play, but can be occasionally frustrating when playing on a mac. In many ways, better than bioshock infinite. I only wish it was as long as Bioshock Infinite.

Keyboard buttons do not work in windowed mode and you cannot swipe between desktops in fullscreen mode. This makes it so that you can’t play the game and have anything else going on. Makes it very unenjoyable for someone looking to play casually while keeping an eye on a stream or something. Fix these things and it goes up to 5 stars for me because I love this game.

Although it is giving the option to play with an XBOX controller, after downloading the program that allows me to do this on a mac, the game is still not allowing me to use that option. It is not highlighted and wont switch. Anyone know how to fix this? Thank you.

If you care at all about the potential of first person shooters, just get this thing.

Ive been having issues running the application. Do I need a disc version, because I mean I bought the $20 version off of the App store, and Im using the latest MacBook Pro. When ever I try to run the game it brings up FAQs and Data and Video settings and stuff. Ive never had an issue like this with any other games. Do I need some type of special software? Please fix, or give me a walk through on how to fix this issue. Also I noticed it took the money from my account like its supposed too, but when I exited from the App Store and reopened it later it shows that it didnt take the money, but it says its installed… Please fix this IDK whats happening :(

this was a truely awesome game.. wish it lasted longer though

This game is a lot of fun to play. It is action filled with a few puzzles thrown in. I have to give this game four stars because it does crash from time to time but not super often.
